This spring Meridian Strategies will be working for Democratic Candidates to gather signatures to get them on the ballot! We are looking for experienced canvassers who are outgoing, personable, and eager to door knock and street canvass in order to collect signatures.
The first field shift will start on February 28 and shifts will run 7 days a week (working 3 shifts per week is a requirement) until March 31st.
The last day of work is subject to change.
Shifts will be 4 hours from 4PM - 8PM on weekdays and 11AM - 3PM on weekends.
Pay will be $30/h.
Qualifications:
Personable, outgoing, easily talk to strangers Can take and follow instructions quickly Legible handwriting YOU MUST BE A REGISTERED DEMOCRATIC VOTER TO GATHER SIGNATURES If you are not a registered voter you must register in person at a Board of Elections office before applying This link shows all of the NYC BOE offices.
